How it works

A simple post-water routine.

One bottle, ten seconds, no extra gear. The whole routine takes longer to read about than to actually do.

The routine, in three steps.

After the session

Use right after you are out of the water, whether at the pool deck, beach shower, or locker room. Trapped water is the most common trigger for that blocked-ear feeling, so the faster you reset, the better. Works through wet hair; just pull it back if it is covering the ear.

Apply gently

Tilt your head sideways, ear up. A few drops into the canal. Hold for a moment, then tilt the other way and repeat. Gravity does the work. No pressing, no rubbing, no cotton swabs. Three to four drops per ear is plenty.

Back out there

No drying required, no extra steps. Cap on, back in the bag, on with your day. The simplest part of the ritual after the wetsuit comes off.

Common questions

A few more practical answers.

Do I need to dry off first?

No drying required. Use it right after you are out, at the pool deck, beach shower, locker room, or bathroom. Tilt, apply, move on.

Can kids use it?

Ear Magic is formulated for general adult use. For young children, we recommend checking with your pediatrician first. Kids' ears are different, and individual situations vary.

Will this fix swimmer's ear?

Ear Magic is a daily-use cosmetic ear care product, not a treatment for swimmer's ear or any infection. If you think you have an infection (pain, drainage, or hearing changes), please see a clinician.
