Born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, Keith R has spent his entire life in and around the ocean. While competing on his high school surf team, he developed a deep respect for the sport and an early familiarity with the chronic ear problems that come from constant exposure to water.
Years of repeated infections and irritation eventually led Keith to a renowned ear surgeon, with whom he has worked closely for the past fifteen years. Through that partnership, he gained a detailed understanding of how water sports affect the ears, and saw firsthand how common these problems are among surfers, divers, and ocean lovers everywhere.
Motivated to find a better solution for himself and the broader water community, Keith set out to create something effective, simple, and protective. That vision became Ear Magic: a product designed to help watermen, waterwomen, and everyone who lives in the water safeguard their ears so they can stay out there longer, healthier, and without interruption.
Today, Keith continues to surf, innovate, and support others who share his love for the ocean. Ear Magic is the result of a lifetime on the water and a mission to keep the water community doing what they love.
